BGMI IS BACK, Krafton teases the return of the game through official Instagram post

Well, the wait is finally over, BGMI is finally coming back to India after a long period of nine months.

The time is finally here for the Indian gaming community to cherish, as the return of Battlegrounds Mobile India is official. Krafton, the South Korean gaming company, has officially announced the return of BGMI through an official Instagram post. The game was removed from the Indian Play Store and App Store in July 2022, following the directive of the Indian government.

Over the past few weeks, strong rumors of the game's return have hovered around in the community. A media report suggested that MEITY is about to issue an order to unblock BGMI in the country for 90 days. It was reported that the Indian government would closely monitor the game for 90 days to ensure that it was following all rules and regulations. The rumors of BGMI's return have been turned into reality as Krafton has made it official.

Krafton in their second Instagram post on the official handle of Battlegrounds Mobile India thanked Indian authorities to allow them to resume BGMI services in the country. The South Korean company in its official statement said -

"We would like to express our deep appreciation to the Indian authorities for permitting us to restart the operations of BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI). KRAFTON, Inc., as a responsible South Korean company that abides by the law, has put in place several measures to ensure compliance to all Indian laws. We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our players, and we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that we maintain the highest possible standards."

Krafton further stated that the company is deeply committed to contributing to the growth of the Indian gaming ecosystem.
