BGMI Players Report Login Issues and Missing In-Game Inventory, Krafton working to resolve it
BGMI players have reported a login issue through Facebook on Wednesday morning May 3, 2023, however if the players have somehow been able to login into the game, the in-game inventory went missing.
Since its release, Battlegrounds Mobile India, also known as BGMI, has gained enormous popularity among Indian mobile gamers. However, since the morning of May 3, 2023, several players have complained about login issues in the game via Facebook.
Some players have reportedly been able to log in, but they have discovered that their in-game inventory has vanished. The issue has generated a great deal of worry among BGMI players, who worry that it might be connected to the game's prohibition.
Popular BGMI streamer and content producer Animesh "Thug" Agrawal addressed the topic on his social media accounts in response to these worries. According to Agrawal, the problem is not the result of the ban but rather a technical one that Krafton, the company that created the game, has already begun to address.
Players of BGMI who were concerned about losing their in-game inventory have found some solace in Animesh “Thug” Agrawal’s statement. Additionally, he advised players to exercise patience while assuring them that Krafton is working feverishly to find a solution.
Apart from Thug, another member of S8UL Esports Lokesh “Goldy” Jain addressed players on the same and advised them to not logout from the game. He said that the inventory that has been missing will be back after the issue gets resolved.

It is significant to remember that BGMI was prohibited in India in July 2022 under section 69A of the IT Act citing data privacy concerns. It’s 2023 and the players are eagerly waiting for the game to return. According to a recent report by Samsung Securities, BGMI might return in the second quarter of 2023. The second quarter is currently running and will end on June 30, 2023, this means that the game might possibly return within this time frame. However, there is no official comment from the publisher Krafton on the Samsung Securities report.
