It is also worth noting that the company did not share any hard numbers around the record. So, we don’t know the actual number of units sold or even the title which held the world previously. As noted in the past, the company recently announced a unique synchronized XP and leveling system across Modern Warfare, Warzone, and Cold War.

Beyond this, the game developer Treyarch also outlined some features that make Black Ops Cold War better for streamers. Checking a report from Polygon, the developer has added several new features to the game. One of the features includes hiding the matchmaking timer while streaming. It does not really hide the timer, but it does randomize the actual time when it starts looking for matches. The game automatically changes (and delays) the actual matchmaking by a random number of seconds after the streamer clicks on the button.

However, if the stream sniper manages to get in the march, Black Ops Cold War comes with the feature where the game can turn the username of the streamer into a “randomly generated anonymous tag”. It can do the same for all the names of the players in the game. One can toggle them on or off in the “Content Filter” area inside the game.
