CD Projekt Red is in the final stages of launching its much-awaited AAA game, Cyberpunk 2077. For some context, the company has scheduled the game launch for December 10 after multiple delays. However, this date will vary between December 9 and December 10 depending on your region. To offer some clarity, the company also revealed the official release time for the game in countries across the globe. The publisher also outlined the official pre-load times for the game on PC, and console including the India launch time. We also got to know some information around the launch party to celebrate the release of the game. Cyberpunk 2077 digital launch party, global release, and pre-load timings
According to the latest information, Twitter Gaming will host a digital launch party to celebrate the release of Cyberpunk 2077. This party will include a Q&A (Questions and Answers) session with Cyberpunk2077 developers Patrick Mills and Miles Tost. Tost in the Senior level designer while Mills is the quest designer at CD Projekt Red. This celebration will kick off at 4:30 AM on December 10 and Parris Lilly will host the Q&A. Though, the company noted that this digital party will be different from the launch parties we have witnessed recently. In addition, Twitter will also launch a custom hashmoji for CyberNight.

Now, let’s focus on the launch timings and the pre-load timings for the game. Looking at the launch timings, the game will launch at 5:30 AM on December 10 in India for PC and Stadia players. The game will unlock at midnight for Xbox One, Xbox Series X or Series S (backward compatibility), and PS4 players. This also applies to the PS5 series, but it does not matter as the console is not available in India officially.

The game is already available for preload on Xbox consoles with PS4 and PS5 pre-loads will start on December 8. Moving to PC, pre-loading for GOG pre-orders will be available at 4:30 PM on December 7 while Steam and Epic Store pre-loading will start at 9:30 PM. Finally, a report from GamesRadar+ stated that Cyberpunk 2077 will get a 43.5GB worth update right after the launch. However, CD Projekt Red clarified this is an update but not the one that will drop on the launch day. As previously noted, the game will take 70GB of storage for installation.
