League of Legends New Patch is Here, Know What's New
League of One Shots, no more.
League of Legends made a dynamic return with the launch of Season 14 in early January. However, following an extended period of balancing, Riot Games is addressing issues, particularly those stemming from AP burst champions, with the release of League Patch 14.2.
This patch includes buffs, nerfs, and adjustments to a total of 18 champions and seven items, prompted by a noticeable split in the game's balance after the introduction of League Patch 14.1. Despite Riot's previous efforts, such as the 14.1B micropatch last week, the disparity has only widened, leading the developers to intervene and restore equilibrium.
Alongside significant changes to champions on the Rift, several skins are also making their debut in the shop, including the Primal Ambush skin selection for four characters seeking to venture out from the jungle.

When will League Patch 14.2 go live?
The huge League Patch 14.2 arrives on Wednesday, Jan. 24. Season 14’s follow-up will begin in Australia—perfect for me—at approximately 10 am AEST before rolling out onto each major region’s servers as the day progresses. Here are all the key patching times:
- 3 pm CT (NA)
- 5 am GMT (EU West)
- 3 am CET (EU North East)
- 8 am KR (Korea)
What’s changing in LoL Patch 14.3?
Quality of life buffs
Illaoi, Yorick, and Udyr are receiving quality-of-life buffs to assist their capabilities in the new season. Illaoi in particular will be receiving a bonus range to her tentacles, allowing her to work in the new wider lanes introduced in Season 2024.

- Mana cost reduced: 25 >>> 20
- Heal no longer doubled when below 50% HP
- Now heals an additional 4 – 8% missing health
- Healing reduced by 50% against minions
E: Mourning Mist
- Cast time reduced: 0.33 >>> 0.25 seconds
- Now visually arcs higher
R: Eulogy of the Isles
- The maiden mark proc cooldown removed
- Maiden mark damage reduced: 3% – 9% max HP >>> 2% – 4%
