Masala Games has Unveiled Detective Dotson for PC on Steam, Wishlist and Demo Live

Detective Dotson, an indie game developed by Masala Games, is set to make its debut on PC via Steam. This mystery adventure game immerses players into the role of Dotson, a hesitant investigator navigating through a stylized modern-day India.
The game is now available for wishlisting on the Steam store page, and a demo is also accessible for users. In the Detective Dotson demo, players are tasked with unravelling the mysterious death of Detective Dotson's father. Through collecting evidence, pursuing criminals, adopting disguises, conducting espionage, and assembling a team, players must piece together the truth.
The full version, slated for release later this year, promises to offer more episodes than the demo, providing a comprehensive experience beyond the introductory taste offered.
“Detective Dotson is our love letter to modern-day India,” says Shalin Shodhan, Founder and CEO of Masala Games. “It’s inspired by Bollywood and Indian TV shows like CID complete with its unique narrative. We hope you enjoy playing it as much as we did making it.”
Developed in Unity, the game features controller support, an original OST made in collaboration with Indian Ocean’s Nikhil Rao, and would be accessible on a wide range of PCs thanks to relatively low system requirements which are as follows:

Detective Dotson GDC 2024 Showcase
Detective Dotson is set to be featured at the Courage XL pre-GDC event on March 17 starting from 9 pm PST. Additionally, attendees of the Game Developers Conference (GDC) will have the opportunity to experience the game firsthand and even participate in a Nintendo Switch giveaway at the Masala Games booth. This will take place from March 20 to March 22 at the GDC Expo SU2, located directly across from Alt. Ctrl. GDC, within the startup area.
