The clip features Ragnarok art director Raf Grassetti, senior character artist Angela Rico, character technical artist Marisa Kaupert and lead character concept artist Dela Longfish. God of War 2018 had six of the nine realms in Norse mythology. God of War Ragnarok is set to feature all nine realms and the new character and creatures design video focuses on Svartalfheim which serves as the land of dwarves and home of Brok and Sindrim, the Huldra brothers.

Raf Grasetti shed some light on the Svartalfheim realm and its various biomes consisting of mountain springs, minerals, resources and more. Angela Rico pitched in, stating that players will be encountering wetlands and water a lot in the dwarf realm.

“We want to plant these seeds within any cast of the realm that there’s more outside of what you’re playing. We want the fans to feel like they can go back and really visit those areas and want to go explore it,” said Dela Longfish.

God of War Ragnarok selling ten days before release

God of War Ragnarok began to be sold ten days before release, which has resulted in a lot of spoilers across the internet. Sony Santa Monica creative director Cory Barlog expressed his thoughts on Twitter, “A retailer selling the game nearly TWO WEEKS before release. Just so disappointing”.

He also addressed how frustrating it must be for the fans as well, trying to avoid these spoilers. He wrote, “Sorry to everyone that you have to dodge the spoilers if you want to play the game fresh. Completely f**king stupid you have to do this. This is not at all how any of us at SMS wanted things to go.”

Ragnarok’s narrative director Matt Sophos also urged fans to stay away from social media if they want to avoid all the spoilers on the internet. Apparently, retailers had begun selling God of War Ragnarok before its official release date which is November 9.
