"Such a horrible user experience": Pokemon Go player shared their frustration on again occurred issue on latest Routes feature

Pokemon Go's latest Routes feature again faced issues as players shared their frustration on the Reddit platform.

A few days ago Pokemon Go introduced its latest feature in the game Pokemon Go, however, the feature doesn't work out like it was supposed to. Players showed their aggression and asked developers to fix the whole situation.

The Routes feature was developed to make the player's plotting gain rewards which further can be collected by the players.

The repeated issue on Pokemon Go

Previously when players reported this issue, the developers Ninantic replied to the players stating, "Hi Chris. We have an exhaustive review process that evaluates the viability & safety of a Route before accepting or rejecting it. The duration may vary based on the number of entries received. It typically takes one week to go through the process or longer. Thank you! ^LN."

However, now another player shared his problem on Reddit and posted a long written note with the title, "Another Huge Problem with Routes."

In that post, the user penned, "Based on observations as well as other people’s anecdotal evidence, it seems like in order to get a Zygarde cell, your best bet is to slow down near the end of a route and do not get close enough to the ending pokestop until you collect the Zygarde cell. I have been hit or miss using this strategy, because sometimes I do slow down near the end of the route, and walk around for almost a whole minute near the end of the line, and as I inch closer and closer to the ending pokestop, the green sparkle might appear, but today I had an instance where the green sparkle literally appeared for half a second, and then the route was completed and it disappeared."

He further called the whole situation horrible and wrote, "This is honestly such a horrible user experience that I wonder how this feature was tested if at all. Niantic, please either make it so that the end-of-route rewards give you the Zygarde cell, OR make it so that the cell does not despawn as soon as the route ends."

After seeing this post on Reddit now players again started asking developers to resolve this whole Routes issue. They urged for a better gameplay experience. One of them suggested how Niantics also should improve the mechanics to provide a Zygarde cell. Hopefully, Niantics will understand how players are facing this issue for so long time and will help them in fixing the situation.
