Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring Anime Reveals New Visual

WIT Studio just showed a new key visual and also a small teaser video for they upcoming anime, "Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring". This anime is adapted from the light novel written by Kana Akatsuki, who also wrote Violet Evergarden. In the teaser, we see Ruri Hazakura, the Agent of Summer, and her Guard Ayame. Looks like they're going to have a important role later on.

The anime is being directed by Ken Yamamoto, and production is happening at WIT Studio, who is known for their really clean and beautiful animation style. There's still not any date announced yet, but already fans are curious because of the strong emotions and depth that was showed in the teaser and visuals.

A World Where Seasons is Alive and Feel

The story takes place in a world where seasons are alive. Not like actual living weather, but more like people called Agents who represent them. Long time ago, Winter was only one, but it got lonely, so Spring was made. After that, Summer and Autumn also appear, and now all four keep the balance of the world.

Main story focuses on Hinagiku, who is Agent of Spring. She disappeared 10 years before, and after that, Spring also vanished from the land. Now she has come back, trying to make everything like before. But it is not just about changing weather, it also about emotions, bonds, and even small love myths between Spring and Winter.

From Novels to Anime and Manga Too

This anime isn’t from just one book. It comes from a big light novel series that have more seasons too. Beside Spring, there are stories about Summer, Autumn, and one is called Archer of Dusk. They were all written by Akatsuki and even got praise in a famous light novel guidebook in 2022. Yen Press is also publishing them in English language now.

So yeah, even if now it’s just a small teaser, what WIT Studio is working on seems really touching. Seasons keep changing—but the feelings and stories, they maybe will stay longer.
