ELECEED Anime Drops Teaser Trailer and Visual Ahead of 2026 Premiere

The ELECEED anime is really happening and will be on TV in 2026. They just said about it along with a teaser video and also one new visual image that was looking pretty cool. They also made a new website and posted about it on X. People were waiting for something like this for a long time, and now finally they are getting it.

Some Known People Joining This Project

DandeLion Animation Studio is the one handling the anime production part. Directing it is Hiroshi Nishikiori—he already did things like Honey Lemon Soda and also IDOLiSH7. The writing job is given to Yousuke Kuroda, who also has been doing scripts for My Hero Academia, so maybe he’ll bring some action and good energy too. Minami Sakura, known for working in Gridman Universe, is doing the character designs. So the group is looking quite full with experience.

 

 

And also, the president of the studio, Mr. Kazuhiro Nishikawa, is going to be at Anime Expo in LA on July 6. He might talk about what is happening inside the studio or maybe give some extra details, so that could be something fans do not want to miss.

ELECEED started long ago in October of 2018. It was written by Jeho Son, and ZHENA did the drawing. Published on WEBTOON, the story already has over 340 episodes by June 2025. So it’s not new, but still many people keep up with it weekly.

To thank fans for the anime news, both creators shared how they felt. The writer said that it feels like a dream coming true, and they wish for more people to enjoy ELECEED now. Also a special art piece was shared to celebrate the moment.

A Bit Strange Story But Not in Bad Way

The main person in the story is Jiwoo Seo, a high school student who doesn't really know how to manage his unusual powers. One day, he saved a stray cat that was not looking well. But a strange thing—the cat suddenly started talking. That cat is Kayden. Before he was the strongest Awakened fighter anywhere, but he got injured. So to survive, he put his mind inside that cat's body. Now he stay with Jiwoo, trying to heal.

 

From there, both of them gets pulled into fights, secrets, and situations they didn’t plan. Jiwoo is calm and kind-hearted, while Kayden is the opposite—he shout, gets angry, and always act like a boss. But together, somehow they are making it work.

There’s time before the anime come on screen, but fans are already feeling excited. The team is full of talents, the source material is already loved, and the story mixes comedy, action, and heart.

Not everyday we get a tale where a quiet boy and one overconfident cat might go and change the world. But in 2026, maybe that’s exactly what is going to happen.
