Puniru is a Kawaii Slime Season 2 Slated for July 6 Premiere

Puniru is a Kawaii Slime going to return with Season 2 and it’s gonna be aired on July 6 at 17:30 JST on Japan TV. The news drop came from the official site and socials, which also put out this new trailer and a kind of colorful visual too. Also, a new girl character will be there—Jelly—who is voiced by Sumire Uesaka. The opening song also got previewed, it’s called “Brun-Brun” and sung by Yu Sasahara who voices Puniru.

The trailer is out now and kinda cute, showing some scenes and energy of the new season. So, expect more chaos maybe.

More About Who's Making It

This time again, Yushi Ibe is the one directing, he also did Tearmoon Empire before. The animation happening at TOHO animation STUDIO. Michiko Yokote writes the series structure or what they call it, she was with Love is Indivisible by Twins before. Aya Tanaka draws the characters, she also helped with Mushoku Tensei sub-characters. Izumi Mori is doing the music part. So, mostly a team that knows their work.

And the whole idea came from Maeda-kun, who made the manga. Season 1 is still on Crunchyroll for people to watch if they wants to catch up or something.

Plot With Slime and Messy Friend Life

Kotaro made a slime once, like 7 years ago it seems, and surprisingly it turned into life. That slime is Puniru. Since then they been close friends. But now she’s more like a girl who changes her looks and is full of energy. Kotaro, poor guy, he can’t really relax with all the things she does. The anime is kind of funny and sometimes sweet, showing how wild but caring their bond is.
