Top 5 Epic Battles Demon Slayer Fans Are Excited for in the Infinity Castle Movie

The first Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie arrives on September 12 and kicks off the final arc with high-stakes battles and heavy emotions

So the wait is almost over now. Demon Slayer fans, especially manga readers, they already know what’s coming—and it’s huge. The Infinity Castle Arc will be made into a series of three movies. The first movie will come out in U.S. theaters on September 12. It’s going to be really exciting.

This arc is really the final showdown. Muzan and his most dangerous demons is hiding inside this moving, confusing castle, and the demon slayers are going all in. It will not be one movie though—this story too big. So the makers are splitting it into three films. First one starts the chaos.

5. Zenitsu’s Old Rival Comes Back as a Demon

Zenitsu vs Kaigaku

One of the first fights in this story is Zenitsu vs Kaigaku. They used to be students of the same teacher. But Kaigaku turned into a demon, and their teacher felt so ashamed that he couldn’t handle it and died. Zenitsu is really mad, sad too, but most of all determined. He don’t want to forgive Kaigaku at all.

This fight not just about power, it’s personal. Kaigaku always acted arrogant, and turning into demon made it worse. Zenitsu has to give his best, even if it brings up painful memories from the past.

4. Shinobu’s Smartest Move Might Cost Her Everything in This Battle with Douma

Shinobu, Kanao, and Inosuke vs. Douma: A Fight Fueled by Vengeance

Shinobu and Kanao Kocho, along with Inosuke too, is fighting Upper Rank Two demon Douma. He killed Kanae, their sister, and Shinobu carried that pain forever. She’s smart, the smartest Hashira maybe, and she had a secret plan ready. But it involved risking everything—even herself.

Kanao knew about the plan. She didn’t like it. But they don’t have much choice. Inside the confusing Infinity Castle, everyone gets separated and has to fight whenever they get the chance. This battle is not only about revenge. It’s also about trust, pain, and learning to let go.

3. Tanjiro and Giyu Take on Akaza… Finally

Tanjiro and Giyu vs Akaza

Tanjiro and Giyu working together is kind of awesome. They have a great team dynamic. When they fight Akaza, who killed Rengoku before, it’s more than just a rematch. It’s a chance to end something that started long ago.

Akaza is scary, honestly. He can heal super fast, moves like lightning, and has this strange way of talking like he’s being polite, but it’s actually rude. He tried to recruit strong demon slayers before. But Tanjiro and Giyu is not interested. They give it all in this battle.

2. Mitsuri and Obanai Struggle Against Nakime’s Deadly Biwa-Driven Fortress

Mitsuri and Obanai vs Nakime

While everyone else fighting scary demons, Mitsuri and Obanai are facing something different. Nakime doesn't attack directly, but she plays her biwa (a Japanese string instrument) and the entire castle shifts like a maze. It’s really confusing and dangerous.

Mitsuri still shows her fun and cheerful side during the fight, which is actually nice in such a serious arc. But Nakime’s power is no joke. Even though she isn’t strongest fighter, her control of the space itself is a huge problem. If she’s not stopped, others might lose too.

2. Muichiro Joins a Bloody Battle Against Kokushibo, the Strongest Demon Slayer-Turned Foe

Muichiro, Genya, Sanemi, and Gyomei vs  Kokushibo

The fight against Kokushibo… it's really something else. He’s the strongest of Muzan’s team. Not just because he’s powerful, but he also use breathing techniques like demon slayers do. But his version is way more destructive.

Muichiro, Genya, Sanemi, and Gyomei team up to fight him. Even then, it’s not easy. In fact, it’s the bloodiest battle in the arc. Kokushibo’s backstory, his moves, everything feels larger than life. There’s so much happening in this one fight, fans might not even breathe watching it.

This movie is just the start of the final journey. Many fights will not finish in the first part. But still, it brings emotions, action, and story together. The animation expected to be top-tier, as always.

Fans of the manga already knows what’s coming. But for anime watchers only, this is where everything start to change. The battles is not just physical—they are emotional. And Demon Slayer is about to deliver all of it, one scene at a time.
