Some new information around Battlefield 6, the much-anticipated title from the Battlefield franchise has just surfaced online. According to the latest report, two images from the upcoming title have just made their way to the internet. This comes weeks, if not days before the likely reveal of the teaser trailer around the game. Right after the report, we also got to know that these two images first made their way to the internet more than three weeks back. The information around these new screenshots came weeks after EA and DICE shared some information around the Battlefield franchise. Battlefield 6 leaks out in the first set of leaked images

The leaked images regarding Battlefield 6 first made their way to the Battlefield6 sub-Reddit. A deleted Reddit user posted the screenshots about three weeks ago in a response to a post regarding Battlefield 6 news. Weeks later, reputable leaker Tom Henderson decided to highlight these images on Twitter. It is worth noting that Henderson has posted several Battlefield 6 related posts in the last couple of months. He has also shared several sketches to tease the contents of the trailer but stopped short of releasing any actual images. This is likely due to legal issues around copyright. Due to similar reasons, we won’t post the images here.

Inspecting the images, both images likely showcase a modern setting full of helicopters, and drones. The first image showcases an aerial shot at the edge of an island with a storm on the right of the horizon. We could also see multiple helicopters and a few boats heading to several buildings on the island. The second image showcases futuristic HUD elements from an aerial vehicle. The scene shows a missile launch-pad setting with several fighter planes in the sky.

It looks like the leaker took the screenshots from a low-resolution source and then used AI to upscale them. Henderson speculated that the original leaker likely took the images from some source like Zoom and then shared them online. This means that we will have to wait for a high-quality preview of Battlefield 6. This comes weeks after EA and DICE confirmed that they are planning to launch the game in the holiday season. The upcoming game is currently in the playtesting phase. This means that the developers are balancing and further refining the game before the reveal. In addition, DICE also stated that it is working on bringing Battlefield to smartphones in 2022.
