The anime adaptation of A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai debuts in October 2025! Produced by Tatsunoko Production and SynergySP, this fantasy isekai follows Takeru Kamishiro's new magical life with rare powers and adventure.
The long-awaited anime adaptation of A Gatherer's Adventure in Isekai will be available in October 2025. The fantasy show is being produced by Tatsunoko Production and SynergySP, with Yoshinori Odaka, who has worked on Mr. Villain's Day Off, at the helm. Composition of the series is done by Gigaemon Ichikawa (A Galaxy Next Door), with designs by Mayumi Watanabe (Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms). Hiroshi Takaki, who has also composed music for Toilet-bound Hanako-kun, composes the anime.
From Bestselling Novel to Animated Series
The anime is based on the light novel series by Masuo Kinoko. The book received significant award in 2016 when it won both Grand Prize and Readers' Prize in the 9th Alphapolis Fantasy Novel Awards. Alphapolis started serialization of the series in 2017, with the most recent and 16th volume published in March 2025. The work has also been published as a manga series drawn by Tomozo, which started in 2018 and currently covers eight volumes. The English version of the manga is published online by Alphapolis Manga.
A New Life in a Magical World
The series revolves around Takeru Kamishiro, a regular office worker who is suddenly brought to a fantasy world known as Madeus. Innately blessed with great physical and magical powers and possessing a very rare talent that enables him to locate useful items, Takeru starts a new life of adventure. With these "cheat" powers, he steers his way in a new world of fantasy monsters and obstacles.
During a recent promotional activity at Machi Asobi, the team of the anime entertained fans by having popular cosplayer Tsukimi Tsukune. She acted as Brolite, an elf and a key component of Takeru's quest.
Fans of Isekai can expect to see a blend of action, magic, and character growth once the series arrives this fall.
