Ado’s ‘Shinzou’ Concert Film Coming to U.S. Theaters This May

Ado’s “Shinzou” concert film hits U.S. theaters May 28 & 31 with immersive sound.

Japanese pop sensation Ado will take her high-energy concert experience to U.S. cinemas this spring. Ado SPECIAL LIVE 'Shinzou' in Cinema will screen in select theaters on May 28 and 31, 2025. Tickets can be booked from May 7 through the official website, which will also offer frequent updates on participating theaters.

The movie documents Ado's historic live concert, which took place at Japan's National Stadium in April 2024. The two-day concert attracted an audience of 140,000 and was a milestone moment as Ado became the first solo female artist to top the venue. The theatrical cut is augmented with remastered 5.1 surround and Dolby Atmos sound for an enhanced audio experience.

Ado’s ‘Shinzou’ Concert Film Coming to Theaters Soon

Audiences will see a film version of the concert's complete setlist of 26 songs. Some highlights include Ado's rendition of "DIGNITY" with B'z guitarist Tak Matsumoto and her vocal duet with Hatsune Miku on "Sakura Biyori and Time Machine." The concert includes "Show," a song co-created in collaboration with Universal Studios Japan.

Ado became popular in 2020 with her debut song "Usseewa," which went viral and elicited extensive debate. She has since released several chart-topping albums, including Kyougen and the One Piece Film Red soundtrack UTA'S SONGS, cementing her status as a strong voice within Japanese music.  

 
 

In 2024, Ado started her initial world tour, and then followed that with a national arena tour named Profile of Mona Lisa. She also debuted her second long album, Zanmu, and her initial CD single, "Sakura Biyori and Time Machine / Shoka." Her subsequent big international tour, Ado WORLD TOUR 2025 'Hibana', commenced in April 2025 and was supported by Crunchyroll.
