Atelier Resleriana Game Coming on September 26 for Consoles and PC
New Atelier Resleriana game launches Sept 26 with fresh story, characters, and offline play.

Koei Tecmo announced on Friday that Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian will be released on 26 September. This title will release in the West on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam for PC. In Japan, this will also be released same day, but with PlayStation 4 included as well.
They also released a trailer titled "First Look," with some of the scenes from the game. The game is reported to be a single-player RPG, meant only for offline play. No online capabilities involved. The plot revolves around new protagonists Rias Eidreise and Slade Clauslyter. It will feature a new world and narrative unlinked from previous Atelier games.
Arrives Following the Mobile Game Had a Transient Existence
This follows the title of the mobile game Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator, which was developed by Koei Tecmo, Gust, and Akatsuki Games. That game first came out in Japan in September 2023 on mobile. It will later come out worldwide in January 2024, also with a Steam release. But the English version came to an early end and only ran until March 28.
That mobile novel followed a girl, Resna, as she learned alchemy. Her best friends were Isana, a beast-type knight; Roman, who labeled himself handsome and was an adventurer; and Saskia, who was instructing Resna in alchemy. Resna dreamed of restoring the lost alchemy to the world. But the game service did not last very long on the global side.
New Game is Starting Fresh
Now with this new Atelier game, Koei Tecmo wishes to attempt a new start. The new game features a new story, new characters, and is standalone. Those who did not play the previous ones can still make sense of this one. And since it's only offline, players won't need internet at all.

The company didn't reveal too much about the gameplay system yet, but from the trailer, it reveals crafting, combat, and some fantasy towns. More information, perhaps, will be revealed later before the release time.
