Chainsaw Man Reze Arc Movie Release & OP Song Hits 200 Million Views
Chainsaw Man’s Reze Arc movie releases soon as fans revisit Season 1, with the OP “KICK BACK” surpassing 200M YouTube views and 450M Spotify streams

Chainsaw Man is really having a good time this year. With the Reze Arc movie coming to Japan on September 19 and then the U.S. on October 29, people are getting excited all over again. It’s expected to do big numbers at the box office too, like other anime movies usually do when a new one drops.
Fans now started watching Season 1 again. But the reason isn't just Denji's dream to touch a chest (which was popular before); now everyone is going back to the one thing they all liked the most. The opening song is really OP.
KICK BACK OP Song Gets Big Attention Again
Season 1 got a lot of stuff: cool fights, wild characters, and amazing scenes. But it’s the OP that’s suddenly making noise again. KICK BACK, by Kenshi Yonezu, is blowing up. The YouTube video on Yonezu’s official channel has now passed 200 million views. That’s a big number. And on Spotify, it has already reached 450 million plays.
The song had crazy visuals and references from movies and other stuff. It was fun, wild, and made people remember it. Now that the movie is coming, people are getting back into it like it's brand new.

Fans More Hyped for Reze Arc
MAPPA dropped the trailer for the Reze Arc movie recently, and it looked totally different but in a good way. More color, sharper animation, more like the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto. The trailer also shows the new song, IRIS OUT, and it’s from Kenshi Yonezu again. Only a small part of the song plays, but people are already liking it.
Also, we saw Reze for the first time, the Bomb Devil. She looks cool and scary at the same time. That’s making fans even more curious about what will happen in this film.
So now, fans have something to wait for. A movie that looks better, has a cool soundtrack, and has a story that might break some hearts. 2025 is already looking like a great year for Chainsaw Man.
