Chainsaw Man Reze Arc Movie Reveals New Poster Ahead of Anime Expo 2025
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc premieres in Japan this September, with a global release starting September 24 and a U.S. debut on October 29

Chainsaw Man is back again with a new movie, and this time it's about the Reze Arc. Just before Anime Expo in July, the team behind the film posted one brand new poster. It’s kind of dramatic—Denji and Reze are seen holding hands, while behind them Chainsaw Man and Bomb Girl are fighting with full energy. Around them, other characters are watching everything. The poster shows both love and destruction at same time.
Tatsuya Yoshihara is directing the movie. He already worked on episode 4 and 10 of the Chainsaw Man anime before. Also, he directed much of Black Clover TV anime, so he has good experience. Hiroshi Seko is back for script writing. Kazutaka Sugiyama is designing the characters again. There's also support from Souta Yamazaki and Shun for side characters, and Sota Shigetsugu is doing action animation. Shoichi is the main animator here. The devil designs are being made by Riki Matsuura and Kiyotaka Oshiyama, who also directed Look Back earlier.

This movie will be released first in Japan in September. After that, it will go international, starting September 24. For the United States, Sony Pictures will bring it to theaters on October 29.
Reze Arc Brings a Change in Tone
The Reze Arc tells a different story not like the one before. Denji meet Reze, she seems like a nice girl with sweet smile. But she has one dark secret behind. When they gets closer, things become more complicated. It's not just about fighting and devils now. It's also about feelings, pain, and making sad choices. Fans may not expect this kind of emotional story to coming so early.
Animation again is by MAPPA. They also done the TV anime one that was released in October 2022. That one got so much popular fast, and even now it still streaming on Crunchyroll worldwide.

Now with this movie coming, it trying to bring more action but also more heart inside Chainsaw Man world. Everything looks more intense than before. Denji looks a bit different now, maybe more serious or even sad. Everyone—like the cast, director, and animators—is working really hard on this. So maybe this Reze Arc will be strongest Chainsaw Man story ever. Fans are waiting already. Countdown is begun.
