Crunchyroll to Release JUJUTSU KAISEN Hidden Inventory / Premature Death, Know Release Date

Crunchyroll said during the Annecy Animation Festival that JUJUTSU KAISEN: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death – The Movie will be coming in cinemas across several countries in the summer of 2025. This includes France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Latin American countries, and Australia.

The movie is adapted from a manga created by Gege Akutami. The story is about what happened before the main series. It is set in the year 2006 when Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto were still students in high school and were friends, not enemies.
They were assigned a mission from Tengen, who is an important figure in the Jujutsu world. The task is to keep Riko Amanai safe and then remove her afterward. She is the Star Plasma Vessel, a person who is connected with Tengen’s ability.
But the mission does not go smoothly because a killer named Fushiguro comes to stop them. That moment, full of fighting and emotional moments, becomes what separates Gojo and Geto in the future. Gojo becomes stronger, and Geto follows a darker path.
Production Staff and Creators
The film is directed by Shota Goshozono. The script is by Hiroshi Seko. Music was composed by Yoshimasa Terui and studio MAPPA is responsible for the animation works. Japan gets the movie first on May 30.
Crunchyroll also has Seasons 1 and 2 of anime, and also the JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 movie on the platform. Now they are bringing more of this story back to the cinema for fans to experience.
