DAN DA DAN Season 2 Unveils Extended Trailer Ahead of Theatrical Release
The eagerly awaited second season of DAN DA DAN has been greeted with a considerable new trailer. Distributor GKIDS released the longest look so far at EVIL EYE, a theatrical feature featuring the initial three episodes of Season 2. Fans can now see new scenes from the next series.
DAN DA DAN: EVIL EYE opens in Asia (excluding Japan) on May 30, followed by a Philippines rollout on June 4. North America releases on June 6, while Europe gets it on June 7. MBS, ADN, GKIDS, and Muse are co-producing the venture. Tickets are now available to the film on sale through GKIDS.
DAN DA DAN Season 2 Streaming Release and Key Staff
After the theatrical release, DAN DA DAN Season 2 will be streamed on Netflix and Crunchyroll from July 3, 2025. The show still has music composed by Kensuke Ushio and directed by co-directors Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora.
The anime is an adaptation of Dandadan, a manga by Yukinobu Tatsu which has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. The tale revolves around high school student Momo, who is from a family of spirit mediums, and her friend Okarun, an occult fan. The couple in this new plot goes to a hot springs town that Jiji, childhood friend and old crush of Momo, has rented to uncover secrets connected to his family. Their detective work, though, is disrupted unexpectedly by odd residents in town, only to show them more secrets beneath the town's peaceful façade.
Anticipation Mounts with New Trailer
The new trailer gives a sneak peek into the supernatural and exciting challenges the characters face, building up the anticipation for an exciting series continuation. The new footage emphasizes the supernatural suspense in the town and the tension rising among the main characters as they try to defeat forces they do not understand. Expect a mix of suspense, action, and supernatural occurrences that made the first season a hit.
With its combination of intrigue and excitement, DAN DA DAN Season 2 is set to provide an engrossing experience at cinemas and streaming services.
