Dandadan Season 2 Drops New Trailer Ahead of July Premiere
Teens face dark forces in a wild, supernatural showdown in Dandadan Season 2.

Dandadan Season 2 will be available on July 3, 2025, and the audience has been presented with a heart-pumping new trailer before its release. The new footage promises a tide of supernatural mayhem, action-packed fights, and the return of popular characters Momo Ayase, Ken "Okarun" Takakura, and Jiji. The coming season will raise the ante with a terrifyingly cold antagonist called the “Avatar of Hatred.”
The anime adaptation stems from the famous manga series by Yukinobu Tatsu, which premiered on Shōnen Jump+ back in April 2021. The series was an overnight sensation due to the combination of supernatural backgrounds, outrageous humor, and rapid plot. Its move into anime form came after its initial season made a splash in October 2024, thanks to the celebrated studio Science SARU. The distinctive animation style and high-energy direction of the show received acclaim from critics and fans alike.
The Season 2 trailer hints at a darker and more intense direction. The trio investigates strange happenings at Jiji’s house, where they uncover a hidden room lined with mysterious protective charms. This discovery marks the beginning of their encounter with a powerful entity known as the Avatar of Hatred—an enemy unlike anything they've faced before.
Season 2 will take the "Haunted House" and "Evil Eye" arcs from the manga. These are two of the most intense and twisty arcs in the series, as the author sets high levels of tension and puts in plenty of twists. Again, Dandadan has its audience in the dark, as the power dynamics and character developments follow no generic rules.
