A new character trailer for the upcoming TV anime Detectives These Days Are Crazy! was released today, featuring Azuha Hoshino. Voiced by Fairous Ai, Azuha is a university student and a quirky inventor who live just below Nagumo’s detective agency. She’s known for her “mad scientist” personality and spends her time making unusual gadgets that adds a fun twist to the story.
The anime is based on the manga by Masakuni Igarashi, which is publish in the Dengeki Maoh magazine by ASCII Media Works. Fans outside Japan can watch the English version release by One Peace Books. The show is made by studio LIDENFILMS, directed by Rion Kujo. Rintaro Ikeda handle the series composition, and Isoroku Koga design the characters and acts as chief animation director. The music will be composed by Tomoki Kikuya, promising a great soundtrack.

Detectives These Days Are Crazy! follows Keiichiro Nagumo, a once-famous detective known for solve tough cases. Now, he’s just an average middle-aged man who’s out of touch with today’s world—he doesn’t even knows what a smartphone is! His quiet life changes when Mashiro, a determined high school girl, shows up wanting to be his assistant.
