There is a new work from the Kaiju Hyakkei project featuring Kafka Hibino once again in his Kaiju form. It's the eleventh image now in this monthly series sent out every 8th of each month. This complements the promotion of the anime and manga of Kaiju No. 8, which already has a big following.

Kafka is the central character of the story, and now it's his turn to shine in this exhibit. Before this one, there were other characters showcased as well, such as Kikoru Shinomiya and Reno Ichikawa, Aoi Kaguragi, Haruichi Izumo, and Soshiro Hoshina. Each of these pieces reveals something regarding the character, sort of how they'll feel or behave in the story, and it presents more thoughts for fans to consider.

The photographs are well crafted and provide fans with more opportunities to feel connected to the character even outside the core manga storyline. Manga Going Strong and Anime Keep Growing

Kaiju No. 8 Episode 11 Slows Down to Decide Kafka Hibino

The manga Kaiju No. 8 is created by Naoya Matsumoto as the writer and artist. It began in July 2020 on Shonen Jump+ online and is ongoing. There are 15 volumes so far as of March 2025. It also receives the English translation by Viz Media, making it more popular outside of Japan.

The Production I.G. animation version, Season 1, starts in April 2024 and finishes in June. It consists of 12 episodes. Fans say the animation is nice and that the plot maintains the same tone as the manga. It is also set to be released in theaters, and there will be an additional special episode, Hoshina's Day Off, on March 28, 2025. The episode is more focused on the character of Soshiro Hoshina.

The second season is also in production and will be released in July 2025. This season most likely reveals more inner story of Kafka and also how much of a threat from Kaiju world is approaching. Masaya Fukunishi, Kafka's voice actor in the Japanese release, spoke at Anime Expo 2024. He explained how he thinks and feels while portraying Kafka's emotions.

With new pictures each month, along with additional anime and manga books, Kaiju No. 8 continues to be a giant series in the anime community. It continues to keep individuals interested and garners greater attention each month.
