Loki’s Sun God Powers in One Piece Explained: Here’s Everything You Need to Know
A new One Piece theory suggests Loki's Devil Fruit in the Elbaph arc is a replica of Luffy’s Nika fruit, raising questions about its true origin and power

The Elbaph story in One Piece is full of crazy things, but nothing is more confusing than the Legendary Devil Fruit. People say it was passed down only in the royal family. That’s why King Harald died and Loki ended up in prison. But now, no one really knows what’s true and what’s just a rumor.
People just know that Loki ate the fruit and got super strong after that. Then he started calling himself “Sun God” like it was a big deal. So fans think maybe it’s like Luffy’s Devil Fruit, the Nika fruit, maybe even the same one.
Loki got power, but too fast?
From the start of this Elbaph arc, Loki is shown as a very dangerous person. Rumors say he killed his father for take the fruit. Then after eating it, he turns into the strongest giant ever been in Elbaph. That part was scary.
Then in Chapter 1142, when Luffy breaks his jail, Loki comes out and uses a big thunder attack on the island south side. That whole place burned up. It shocked everybody. But now spoilers from Chapter 1152 saying something else someone tried to steal the fruit when Harald was betrayed. Maybe Loki take it from them, or maybe not. Nothing clear yet.
On Reddit, one theory was said by user u/Distinct_Cup_1598. He was talking about the fruit Loki eats, maybe not the original one. He say, the real legendary fruit of Elbaph is actually Luffy’s one, the Nika fruit. The one Loki having? Just a fake copy, named Doga Doga no Mi or like, Toon Toon Fruit. It looks similar and does kind of same thing, but actually not genuine. Maybe Loki has been tricked.
Also, it mentions Shanks was aware of all this stuff. He saw how the Government tried to grab the fruit and then he went looking for it during one year. But before he brought it back to Elbaph or something like that, Luffy had already eaten it without knowing. This situation changed lot of things.
Another point is Loki’s laugh—“Doga doga”—which sounds like name of the fruit. So fans are thinking maybe he did eat the fake version and now thinking he’s Sun God. But it could be that he’s not.

What Does It Mean for the Story?
There is still a lot of confusion. If it’s true that Loki didn’t get the real fruit and Luffy did, that changing the whole meaning of everything. Maybe Luffy’s powers are more important than everyone was thinking before. And this also mean the Government is doing suspicious things maybe making false Devil Fruits or hiding the truth from the world.
Maybe Chapter 1152 give more clarification, but currently, the Elbaph arc is becoming really confusing. So many things are happening—giants, gods, some fake fruits hard to say what is correct. People who are still reading can check on Viz Media and wait to see what happen in this crazy story.
