Love Live! Launches New Project ‘IKIZULIVE! LOVELIVE! BLUEBIRD’ with Trailer and Character Reveals
The Love Live! franchise unveils IKIZULIVE! LOVELIVE! BLUEBIRD, a new school idol project set across Japan. Featuring ten new idols, self-intro videos, and a debut single “What is my LIFE?” launching digitally May 19, 2025.
A new installment in the Love Live! series has been revealed with the announcement of IKIZULIVE! LOVELIVE! BLUEBIRD. The project's official website recently premiered a promotional trailer, a key visual, and information on the ten main characters and their voice actors. The project will take place mainly through social media and YouTube, providing fans with short dramas, regular updates, and live events.
IKIZULIVE! traces the lives of ten high school students of Love Gakuin High School, simply known as "L-kou" or "L High." All the students belong to satellite campuses located all over Japan and have their own unique personalities and backgrounds. They all get together and start school idol activities to promote the school.
Cast Lineup and Character Introductions Released
The ten idols featured and their respective voice actors are:

- Akira Goto (voiced by Seri Miyano)
- Hanabi Komagata (voiced by Kokori Fujino)
- Miracle Kanazawa (voiced by Aiha Sakano)
- Noriko Chofu (voiced by Ria Seko)
- Yukuri Harumiya (voiced by Yuki Okumura)
- Aurora Konohana (voiced by Akana Amasawa)
- Midori Yamada (voiced by Honoka Kotomori)
- Shion Sasaki (voiced by Aoi Suzunose)
Hisayuki Tabata is designing characters for the project, known for his designs in the Fate/stay night anime adaptations.
The official YouTube channel for the project is currently streaming self-introduction videos for all characters.
Release Dates for First Single and Lyric Video Have Been Confirmed
The group's first single, "What is my LIFE?", will be released digitally on May 19, prior to the CD release on July 30, 2025. A lyric video for the song will be released on YouTube on May 12 at 8:00 p.m. JST (4:00 a.m. PT).
With online platforms at the center of its launch, IKIZULIVE! seeks to reach a broad audience while growing the Love Live! franchise with a contemporary, digital-first mindset.
