Mushoku Tensei Season 3 Announced With Teaser Trailer and 2026 Release Date
Studio Bind’s Mushoku Tensei Season 3 premieres in 2026, with a teaser shown at Anime Expo and new staff leading the next chapter of Rudeus’s story

During Anime Expo 2025, “Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation” Season 3 got its first reveal. But it’s only a teaser video, not a full episode or anything big. Crunchyroll showed it in their industry panel, where fans in attendance got to see Eris again for few moments. But still, that teaser isn’t online anywhere, it’s only shown in the event. They mention that it’ll be on Crunchyroll soon with English subtitles, though didn’t tell any release date.
Studio Bind, who made the anime before, is again making this one too. But directing is now under Ryosuke Shibuya. For designing the characters, two new names Sanae Shimada and Ryota Furukawa are involved. Music will again be by Yoshiaki Fujisawa, who already composed for earlier seasons. Most of the team either returned or have good enough experience, so maybe this season going to feel similar.
The Story Shifts Into Deeper Area
This third season is supposed to start from Volume 14 of the light novel version. In this part, Rudeus and his companions are going to Perugius’s flying fortress. They say the place has many old secrets, but things don’t go well there. One of the members in group became very ill there. After that, the situation becomes intense and emotional. Rudeus needs to decide something important to help the one who’s sick. It’s not just about adventure anymore, it get more personal this time.
You can watch the English-subbed version on Crunchyroll below.
The Japanese version is uploaded.
Season 1 aired back in 2021, with 23 episodes split across two parts. Then Season 2 came out in 2023 and finished not too long ago, having 24 episodes. Both were appreciated by many people, especially for how beautiful the animation looked and for the touching character moments.

At the same event, Nobuhiro Osawa from EGG FIRM mentioned hopes to adapt the entire story, like it happened in anime such as Sword Art Online or DanMachi. So if Season 3 does well, they might try finishing the full adaptation.
Studio Bind, meanwhile, is also working on another anime. That one is called Ruri Rocks and it will start airing next week already. With all its emotions, new characters, and magical drama, Season 3 of Mushoku Tensei could turn out something big again. 2026 still feels far, but before people realize, it will arrive soon.
