An updated trailer for Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 has been published, showcasing the game’s adaptation of the Swordsmith Village Arc. This is the first new media we have seen since the July character trailer was released, and with the August 5 launch happening in a short few weeks, this preview helps ramp up anticipation. The game will be available for Windows PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S throughout North America and Europe. For those players looking to dive into the game early, it can be pre-ordered now.

Edition Details and Bonuses

There are three editions available for pre-order, each offering different content and price points. The Digital Deluxe Edition has an MSRP of 69.99 USD and includes the base game and six character unlock keys. Some of the character unlocks include fan-favorites Kyojuro Rengoku and Tengen Uzui, but there are also others Obanai Iguro, Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Gyomei Himejima. This edition also features a VS Mode system voice pack for Upper Rank demons like Akaza, Daki, Gyutaro, Zohakuten, and Gyokko. In addition, it offers three special battle costumes: Tanjiro Kamado’s Kimono from the Entertainment District, Inosuke Hashibira’s Kimono from the same arc, and Tengen Uzui’s Shinobi Attire. As a pre-order bonus, buyers receive two extra character unlock keys for Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji.

Ongoing and Upcoming Demon Slayer Content

For fans who want more Demon Slayer content, Crunchyroll streams the TV anime series and the Mugen Train movie in both subtitled and dubbed formats. The platform also offers the latest Hashira Training Arc. Meanwhile, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle movie trilogy is scheduled to start its run in Japan on July 18. International premieres will follow, with screenings planned for the United States and Canada beginning September 12.
