The anime version of Nukitashi is officially scheduled to premiere on Japanese television in July 2025. Based on the adult visual novel of the same name, the show introduces its wild and edgy world with a new teaser trailer. The preview is heavily censored, hinting at the provocative and comedic tone that defines the series. Despite the visual novel’s mature themes, the anime aims to blend outrageous humor with action and satire while adapting the source material for TV audiences.
New Cast Revealed and Early Theatrical Screening
The latest announcement also confirmed three new cast members. Masumi Tazawa, known for her role as Ikuno Dictus in Umamusume: Pretty Derby, will voice Toka Reizeiin. Nanami Aiba joins the cast as Rei Tadasugawa, while Nana Inoue, who voiced Rika Anju in Magikano, will play Ikuko Onabuta. The new cast members bring more fun and personality to the already lively characters.
Before the TV debut, a special screening event is set to take place in Japan on June 22. The event will feature the first three episodes shown in a theatrical setting. Following the screening, five of the main cast members will appear for a discussion session, offering fans a chance to engage with the voice talent and creators behind the show.
Plot Teases Mystery and Rebellion
Set on Seiran Island, Nukitashi follows a group of social outcasts united under the banner of NLNS, a secret society determined to overthrow the island’s extreme moral laws. The story is told from the perspective of Junnosuke Tachibana, the group’s founder and leader. Backed by a mysterious, wealthy benefactor, they are given a base, funds, and one mission: find and protect a mysterious girl who may hold the key to their success.

As they search for this girl, they must also avoid being caught by the island’s strict law enforcement group, SHO. Packed with chaotic energy, sharp humor, and bold storytelling, Nukitashi: The Animation is shaping up to be a memorable addition to the Summer 2025 anime season.
