Just two days later, the official YouTube channel of EMOTION Label made the opening seven minutes of the film available for streaming. This early preview offers fans a glimpse into the latest installment of the six-part movie series.
The original Princess Principal TV anime aired for 12 episodes between July and September 2016. Co-produced by Studio 3Hz and Actas, the series later expanded into a film sequel project announced in April 2018. The first movie was released in February 2021, followed by the second in September of the same year. The third chapter arrived in April 2023.

Plot Unfolds with Rising Suspense
In Chapter 4, tensions rise as Team White Pigeon faces serious consequences following Princess Mary's failed escape attempt. Captured by the Royal Home Guard, the team is exposed as spies working for the Republic. The Duke of Normandy then demands they serve as double agents, with the Princess held separately under strict control. The rest of the group is released but remains under surveillance.
As rumors swirl about the team's loyalty, the Republic assigns them a mission to verify their trustworthiness. The operation targets a key figure destabilizing the Republic’s economy. Ange, Dorothy, Beatrice, and Chise begin an undercover mission, infiltrating a factory tied to this man.
Caught in a complex web between the Kingdom and the Republic, Team White Pigeon finds itself under increasing pressure. Their fate grows uncertain as the stakes continue to rise.
Experienced Team Behind the Scenes
The film is directed by Masaki Tachibana (Barakamon), with a series composition by Noboru Kimura (Gundam Build Divers). Original character designs are by Kouhaku Kuroboshi, while animation direction is led by Yukie Akiya and Kimitake Nishio. The animation production is handled by Actas, known for works like Long Riders!.
As the story progresses, Chapter 4 brings deeper intrigue and conflict to the expanding Princess Principal universe.
