Private Tutor to the Duke's Daughter Anime Shows New Character Ellie in Trailer
Private Tutor anime reveals Ellie in trailer ahead of July 2025 fantasy romance debut.
The new anime, Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter, shared a fresh trailer that showed a character named Ellie. She is a maid who works in Duke Howard’s house. The voice for her is done by Kyoka Moriya. She nis ot the main person in the story, but still important in how things happen around other characters. The show is starting in Japan on July 5, 2025.
This anime comes from a light novel written by Riku Nanano. At first, it was on the Kakuyomu website starting from October 2017. Later, it got a printed version with pictures by Cura, under Fujimi Fantasia Bunko. Now, it already has 19 volumes in Japan. There is also a manga version drawn by Tamura Muto, which started in 2019. Four volumes of that has come out until now.
Anime Team and What Story Tell
Studio Blanc is making the anime. The director is Nobuyoshi Nagayama, and Kazuya Ishikura is helping as assistant director. Megumi Shimizu is doing the series writing, Akiko Toyoda is making the characters look, and the music is by Kei Haneoka. English readers can find light novels and manga from J-Novel Club.
The story is about Allen, a young magic user who had a big dream to work for the royal court. But after he failed the final exam, he didn’t have a job or even money for a train ticket. Then he hears that Duke Howard is a private teacher for his daughter Tina. Allen accepts it, even if it’s not what he hoped for.
Tina is smart in study but cannot use magic at all. That is a big problem because the Royal Academy won’t take students who have no magic. Allen has a strange magic style, different than others. He tries to help Tina learn before time runs out. But there are many questions—why Tina can’t do spells, and does the Duke care if she succeeds?
The new trailer shows Ellie, the maid, who stays close to Tina. She not only cleans the house but also helps in small ways with daily life. The video helps viewers see more about the other people around Tina. As the anime start soon, more people will get to know all the characters in this noble family world.
