Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus Anime Movie Gets July 2025 Release Date & New Trailer
A beloved anime story is about to take an unexpected turn, and fans won't want to miss what's coming this summer

Fans of the Rascal Does Not Dream series is feeling happy as a new chapter are on the way. The anime movie Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus just release a trailer and key visual, saying it will be broadcasted in Japan on July 5, 2025, at 23:30 JST. This newest part will continue the University Arc, with Sakuta Azusagawa and Mai Sakurajima's story as they being college students.
A Familiar Team Behind the Scene
CloverWorks is back as the studio who animates the project, with Soichi Masui is directing again. Masahiro Yokotani take care of the series composition, while Satomi Tamura is doing the characters design. Music are again composed by fox capture plan, who brings back the same feeling like before. They all help to build Hajime Kamoshida’s light novel world that fans has enjoy from the start.
The trailer which just got release also shows the new opening and ending theme songs. “Snowdrop” by Conton Candy is the beginning theme, while “Suiheisen wa Boku no Furukizu,” sung by Uzuki Hirokawa, Ikumi Akagi, Sara Himeji, and Toko Kirishima, plays for ending.

Special Screening and Voice Cast Event
Before the show come on TV, a early screening will happening on June 21 at United Cinemas Aqua City Odaiba. Fans going there will see the voice cast including Kaito Ishikawa, Asami Seto, Sora Amamiya, and Manaka Iwami, who are bringing the characters to voices again.
