Reincarnated as the Daughter anime premieres October 2025, following Ellen’s magical life as the child of a hero and spirit queen in a fantasy world

There is a new fantasy anime coming very soon. The name is Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits, and it’s beginning from October 2025. Already, a teaser has come out, which gives a little early look into what the story is about and how the world seems. It will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and also on some other TV channels in Japan.
This anime is based on a light novel, written by Matsuura, and the artwork is done by keepout. It’s about one girl named Ellen. She used to be in today’s Japan, but then somehow she got reborn in a magic world. And now she is not just any normal girl—her dad is a very famous hero, and her mother is the queen of spirits. So yeah, it’s kind of a big thing. Her life is now full of special moments and strange happenings.
Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Hero and Spirit Queen: Anime Staff Revealed
The animation job is done by J.C. Staff, a studio that has already worked on many anime before. Toshinori Fukushima is the director, and Toko Machida is taking care of script writing and the story composition part. Character designing is done by Mina Osawa to bring rthe ight feeling of magic into the visuals.
Also, the teaser video already tells who is in the cast:
- Seria Fukagawa is giving voice to Ellen
- Kazuyuki Okitsu is playing Rovel
- Mai Nakahara is Origin
The anime was first revealed back in January 2024. Later in March, at AnimeJapan, they shared the voice actors and the team who work on it. The trailer now shows different emotions, with a few touching scenes and also some cuteness, not only action. So maybe the show also has some family feelings inside.
From Web Novel to TV Anime
This story did not start as a book from the beginning. It was a web novel before, posted on Shosetsuka ni Naro between 2016 and 2020. Then, later, Fujimi Shobo turned it into real books under the Kadokawa Books label. A total of nine volumes were published from 2018 to 2022.

There’s manga also, which is drawn by Yutaka Ohhori. It started publishing in Monthly Big Gangan in 2018. As of March 2025, 11 volumes are out. People can also read the English version on Comikey and Manga UP! Global.
So, with a main girl who is strong but also adorable, a talented team behind the making, and a mix of magic and emotions, Reincarnated as the Daughter of the Legendary Hero and the Queen of Spirits looks like one anime that could stand out this October. Maybe not everyone’s taste, but fantasy and family lovers might enjoy it, surely.
