Sayuri Ichinose Get Focus in New Trailer of “Turkey: Time to Strike”
Sayuri Ichinose shines in new trailer for upcoming bowling anime, Turkey: Time to Strike.
The new anime Turkey: Time to Strike is showing another character trailer, and now it is Sayuri Ichinose's turn. This is the third trailer already, earlier ones were showing Mai Otonashi and also Rina Godai. The anime is going to start from July 8, and the animation is by BAKKEN RECORD studio.
Sayuri is voiced by Haruki Iwata, and the trailer gives a look into her personality and part in the team. She seems quiet, but strong and serious. It shows she will bring a new side to the bowling club team. Recently, also one full trailer also came out, which includes the opening theme “Hyakunichiso.” The music and scenes there show that emotion is a big part of the story, not only sport.
From the looks, anime seems to want to go deep into the girls’ relationship and their personal growth while bowling. There is much emotion in the trailer, some sadness, some hope, all mixed with the music.
Cast and Crew Make Story With Emotion and Energy
Kana Ichinose is the voice for Rina Godai, Yuki Tenma is doing Nozomi Mitaka, Ayasa Ito is Nanase Nikaido, and Hana Hishikawa is doing Mai Otonashi. All these girls are part of the main team. They have different characters and problems, so it looks like each one is going to have their own story within the main story.
Susumu Kudo is the director and has experience in many kinds of anime. Naomi Hiruta is doing the script, which decides how the story goes and talk happens. Character designs and animation checking are done by Airi Takekawa, who is also ensuring that the face and movement look natural. The music is by Yuki Hayashi, who makes high-energy and emotional soundtracks for anime.
Turkey: Time to Strike was first announced in December 2022. It’s not coming from manga or a light novel. All of it is original. The story is of five girls — Mai, Rina, Sayuri, Nozomi, and Nanase — who are in their school bowling club. They are not always winning, but still not giving up. The title is from the bowling word “turkey,” which means three strikes in a row. It symbolizes their goal and struggle.
