The spooky halls of Kamome Academy are opening again! A new sequel to Toilet-bound Hanako-kun Season 2 will premiere on July 6, 2025. Fans are excited to see Hanako, Nene, and Kou back for more adventures.

Toilet-bound Hanako-kun is based on a manga by AidaIro that began in 2014. It’s about Nene Yashiro, a high school girl. She loves ghosts. She try to summon a spirit in a girls' bathroom to make a wish, but it doesn’t works. Instead of her wish, she meets Hanako, a ghost boy. She ends up helping him keep peace between humans and spirits. The twist is that the famous "Hanako-san" ghost is really a boy.
The manga has grow more popular over time. By early 2024, it had sold over 10 million copies. The 24th volume will comes out on June 26, 2025, just before the anime come back.
