Upcoming Anime Tamon’s B-Side Gets January 2026 Release With New Music Video and Star Cast
The anime Tamon’s B-Side arrives January 2026, telling a touching tale of a troubled idol and the fan who helps him rediscover hope through music

Well, it’s now official. The anime of Tamon’s B-Side will come out in January 2026. This news comes along with a new music video, which is already out now. Many fans have already been excited since back in February, when the visual of the main characters was shown.
The new music video has the song “F/ACE OFF” by F/ACE, and it brings more mood and emotion from the anime’s story. It’s a good way to feel what the characters may maybe going through. The colors and movement in it were also nice and dramatic, kind of deep feeling.
Team Who's Making Tamon’s B-Side
The animation will be handled by J.C. Staff, who have worked on many anime already. Chika Nagaoka is the director of the show, and Chiaki Nagai is writing the script and handling the overall story planning. Character design and animation checking are being done by Yoko Ito, so things are looking neat in that area too.
Who Will Be the Voices
Some popular voice actors have been announced. The main roles are:
- Saori Hayami as Utage Kinoshita
- Kakeru Hatano is playing Tamon Fukuhara
- Shoya Chiba doing Ori Sakaguchi
- Tasuku Hatanaka will be Keito Tachibana
- Kohei Amasaki acts Natsuki Ishibashi
- Ryuuho Nagaoka is Rintarоo Kai

From Manga to Anime Form
So, the anime is based on manga by Yuki Shiwasu. First, it was just a one-shot in a magazine called Hana to Yume during August 2021, but then in October same year, it became a full manga series. Now, Viz Media owns the rights to the English version.
The story is about Tamon, who is a famous singer, but he feels tired and full of doubts. He wants to quit. But there’s Utage, she is his big fan. She doesn’t want him to give up. She decides to help him, even if it’s not easy, she tries to support him with all she can.
