Something big just dropped for Uta no Prince-sama: TABOO NIGHT XXXX, and it’s unlike anything fans have seen before

A new trailer just got dropped for Uta no Prince-sama The Movie: TABOO NIGHT XXXX on official site today, and it’s being a special one. The last five and a half minutes in this version are the director’s cut, personally chosen by Akiko Seki. It brings the fans deeper into emotional and musical core of the movie.
This ain’t just a normal trailer, it have all 11 songs that QUARTET NIGHT sings in the film. The group, consisting of Reiji Kotobuki, Ranmaru Kurosaki, Ai Mikaze and Camus, are favorites since they coming in season 2 back in 2013. Solo songs and group ones are in the movie, and there are two encores at the end.
Every member gets their own moment of shine. Camus sing “Ice Pierrot” which is so cold like he is, Ai’s dreamy song “Am I a fairy or...?” is very sparkly. Ranmaru go hard on “Black Panther,” is a very fierce song. Reiji got full energy on “Zero” and sing with Ranmaru on “The RUN to the RAY.” They all come together for loud songs like “TABOO NIGHT XXXX,” “JINN-Ω-RAY” and last one “God’s S.T.A.R.” that fans love so much.
The movie keeps the legacy alive
This movie is being third concert-style film from Uta no Prince-sama series. Before this one, it was Maji LOVE Kingdom in 2019 and Maji LOVE ST☆RISH TOUR in 2022 that also was big hits. TABOO NIGHT XXXX started in Japan theaters on May 9 and showed at 135 cinema. It came fourth when it open, and stayed on sixth on second weekend, so fans still giving support much.
This new trailer more about feelings and story through song, not just about flashy dance. It show connection between idol and fans and also the vision of Akiko Seki very clear.
