UtaPri Movie Crosses 1.4 Billion Yen: Here’s Everything You Should Know
Uta no Prince-sama film hits 1.4 billion yen in 60 days, 4DX screening and bonus gift coming.

The animated film Uta no Prince-sama The Movie: TABOO NIGHT XXXX has earned more than 1.43 billion yen at Japan box office after 60 days since its release on May 9. It got 854,267 people coming to theaters and made around 9.81 million dollars. This was reported by Oricon News.
The movie is the third one in the Uta no Prince-sama concert film line. When it came to theaters, it opened in 135 places and stayed in Japan's weekend top 10 box office for seven weeks straight. After that, it falls out of the top ten in week eight, but then again returns back at tenth place on week nine. It’s already now sixth most earned anime movie in Japan for 2025.
4DX Version Starting Soon in Selected Theaters
The movie’s official website now says the 4DX version gonna be shown in selected theaters from July 18. In 4DX, the seats are moving together with the movie—front and back, side to side, also up and down. The audience can feel the mist, wind, smell, and other effects to feel like they are inside the scenes. The version will be the same one as it was shown during the movie’s sixth week in the cinema.
Special Postcard Will Be Handed From July 11
Not only is 4DX coming, but also new gift is also coming for fans. From July 11, people who go to the theater will receive a special "QUARTET NIGHT" postcard. That card features fresh artwork created by character designer Maki Fujioka. These postcards are only printed in limited quantities, so once they finish, they won’t be given again.

The film’s success proves that Uta no Prince-sama still has a strong fan base, and even after many weeks, the support has not stopped. It may hold promise for anime movies based on music and idol concert themes.
