Why Tamaki Amajiki Is My Hero Academia’s Most Underrated Hero
Discover how Tamaki Amajiki’s quiet power, Manifest quirk, and honest nature make him one of the most underrated heroes in My Hero Academia

In My Hero Academia, many heroes like getting attention. They talk loud, show big flashy quirks, and always want the crowd to clap and say “wow.” But then, there’s Tamaki Amajiki. He’s not like that. People know him as Suneater, but he doesn’t enjoy being in front much. Always kind of nervous, mostly quiet. But when danger comes, he does things nobody even imagines.
Tamaki is one of the Big Three of U.A. High. That’s supposed to be something great, but he doesn’t act proud or loud about it. He is usually nervous, staying in the background, and doesn’t talk much. But when it comes to fighting, he’s totally there. He doesn’t show off later either; he just walks away.
Tamaki’s Quiet Power
His quirk is Manifest. So he eats things like squid, sunflower seeds, chicken and then somehow he turns into part of them. Tentacles claws wings whatever it is. At first, it might look weird and a bit silly, but it's actually very strong.
In that Hassaikai arc you remember he took down three strong villains. No shouting, no fancy moves; he just did it. But Tamaki isn't the only strong one because of his power. He’s different because he’s scared. His best friend Mirio, always cheering for him, gives him a push. reminding him that even heroes needs support sometimes.

He doesn’t want to be number one. He doesn’t want stage lights on him. But even so, when things go bad, like in the Paranormal Liberation War, he is calm. He moved ahead, quiet and slow, but steady.
In the end, not every hero wears bright clothes or says catchy phrases. Some, like Tamaki, just stand there, no noise. But still you feel it. His courage, it doesn't yell. It whispers. And sometimes, whispers say more than a roar ever can.
