YOASOBI has released the full music video for "Watch me!," the opening song of the anime WITCH WATCH.The video feature charming animation and lively dance scenes starring Nico, one of the shows main characters. WITCH WATCH and Its Anime Adaptation
WITCH WATCH is based on the manga by Kenta Shinohara, known for SKET Dance and ASTRA LOST IN SPACE. The manga started in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2021 and now has 21 volumes in Japan. English readers can enjoy the official version published by VIZ Media.
Hiroshi Ikehata directs the anime, and he also worked on TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You. The series are animated by Bilbury Animation Studios. Masao Kawase support as assistant director, with Deko Akao write the series composition. Character designs come from Haruko Iizuka, recognized for her works on Horimiya, and music is composed by Yukari Hashimoto, known for A Sign of Affection.
Story Overview
The anime is about Morihito Otogi, a high school boy who comes from a family of ogres. His life takes turn when Nico, a witch-in-training and his childhood friend, move in. Nico choose Morihito to be her familiar, sparking both excitement and new challenge.
