The update called Secrets of the Coven for Darkest Dungeon II has finally been arrive on more platforms after its earlier release on PC. Developed by Red Hook Studios, this update is free and includes a lot of new content that adds more depth and challenges to the game. Now it can also be played on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, which is good news for the fans who waited.
Darkest Dungeon II New Hero Has Been Added: The Alchemist
One of the main things that players will probably notice is the new hero, she is called The Alchemist. Along with a hero, Red Hook added a new region too. The Coven’s Refuge is this place, and it’s filled with a mysterious and creepy vibe. Inspired by witchcraft stories, this area has strange enemies and dangers. It’s different from the other places in the game and forces players to change how they approach things.
There is even a new mini-boss there, plus some lore moments to find. The entire region adds a chilling layer that can put pressure on your party if you’re not ready.
