The League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) 2025 Spring Split is set to commence on March 29, 2025, and will feature ten premier teams from the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions. This split marks the 16th European League of Legends split under the LEC banner, with teams competing for the championship title and qualification spots for the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI).

Format and Schedule
The Spring Split will adopt a single round-robin format during the regular season. Each team is going to play nine matches in a Bo3 format. Following the regular season, the top six teams will advance to the playoffs which will take place in a double-elimination bracket; all of the playoff matches will be Bo5 series.
The top four teams from the regular season will be seeded into the upper bracket, whereas the fifth and sixth-placed teams will begin in the lower bracket.
The Spring Split is scheduled to run from March 29 to May 1, 2025. Specific match schedules, including dates and times, will be announced on the official LEC website and associated platforms as the event approaches.
Prize Pool and MSI Qualification
The total prize pool for the LEC 2025 Spring Split is €80,000 (approximately $80,000 USD). The distribution is as follows:
- 1st Place: €40,000 and qualification for MSI 2025
- 2nd Place: €25,000 and qualification for MSI 2025
- 3rd Place: €10,000
- 4th Place: €5,000
The champions and runners-up of the Spring Split will earn the opportunity to represent the EMEA region at the MSI 2025, bringing top-notch teams from respective regions.
LEC Roadshow in Madrid
A highlight of the Spring Split is the LEC Roadshow, which will take place on April 26 and 27, 2025, at the Madrid Arena in Spain. This event marks the return of the LEC to Spain after 12 years.
The participating teams for this event are Movistar KOI, GIANTX, G2 Esports, and Fnatic. The matchups are as follows:

Tickets for the event are available starting from €20 and for two-day passes at €50. Those unable to attend in person, do not need to worry, as the matches will be broadcast in both Spanish and English as well.
