Epic Games has just shared a new announcement outlining the latest content for its popular Battle Royale title, Fortnite. According to the announcement, Epic Games has teamed up with Marvel to bring several new characters to the game. The highlight of this new content is likely the arrival of Black Panther skin along with a new emote. In addition, the game developer is also bringing other characters including Captain Marvel and Taskmaster. All these characters land just a day after the company shared a trailer regarding the arrival of Black Panther. Fortnite gets Black Panther and Captain Marvel
The game developer and publisher shared details about this new content in a dedicated post along with a video. This 38-second-long video teaser showcases the arrival of Black Panther to the game as other characters wait. We can see several Marvel characters including Storm, Wolverine, Mystique, Ironman, Captain America looking at the Black Panther statue. These characters are joined by the Taskmaster and Captain Marvel as we witness the reveal of Black Panther. We see the character on the top of the Black Panther statue. Towards the end, all the characters join to make the Wakanda Forever salute to welcome Black Panther in the game.
The trailer pays homage to the character of Black Panther and Chadwick Boseman in extension. The popular American actor who played the part of Black Panther and King T'Challa in the cinematic version recently passed away. This video also plays a portion of the Bagbak song from Vince Staples, the theme song of the Black Panther movie. All the new characters are likely part of the new “Marvel Royalty” and “Warriors Pack”. Epic Games also shared the contents of both the packs along with all the additional cosmetic elements.
Digging deeper, the Black Panther skin will come with the outfit, kinetically charged style, “Vibranium Daggers along with Dual pickaxe”, “Wakandan Skyrider” glider, and a King Cowl’s Back Bling with kinetically charged variant style. The Captain Marvel skin comes with the outfit, empowered variant style, Alpha Staff pickaxe, Power of Mar-Vell glider, and Kree Backplate Back Bling with empowered style. Finally, Taskmaster skin comes with the outfit, a Mimic Shield back bling, and a Copycat Sword pickaxe. Interested players can buy the Marvel Royalty and Warriors pack while the Wakanda Forever salute is easy to unlock.
