The Vigilantes anime nears its end with a powerful trailer, teasing emotional battles and a final showdown between Knuckleduster and Hachisuka
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is almost at the end now. A new trailer just got out, and it really looks intense. Only two episodes are remaining, and this trailer is already hinting that something big is about to happen soon.
The anime started back on April 7, and it will have 13 episodes in total. That means it's nearly time to say goodbye. The new trailer mostly shows Knuckleduster facing off against Hachisuka. But the twist? Hachisuka is using Knuckleduster’s daughter as some kind of puppet. That’s just messed up.

The trailer plays the ending theme too—“Speed” by Yutori. It’s kind of emotional and fits all the dramatic scenes that are going on. You can feel something serious is coming just from how the music plays over those moments.
The Team Behind This Show Is Doing a Great Job
Kenichi Suzuki is directing this anime at BONES FILM. He’s done a good job with how the story is moving. And also, the voices fit well with the characters. Here’s the main cast:
- Yasuhiro Mamiya is Knuckleduster
- Shuichiro Umeda as Koichi Haimawari
- Ikumi Hasegawa giving voice to Pop☆Step
You can watch the show on Crunchyroll from anywhere, so fans across the world are keeping up every week.
A Story That Takes Place in the Shadows
This story is not about the main My Hero Academia cast it’s set five years earlier. Koichi Haimawari is the main guy here. He didn’t make it to the big hero school, but still goes around helping people with a small Quirk.
He teams up with Knuckleduster, who’s a bit rough, and Pop☆Step, who brings energy. They’re not licensed heroes, just people doing what they think is right—even if they don’t always know what they're doing.
This anime is based on the Vigilantes manga, which is set in the world of My Hero Academia. Kohei Horikoshi made the original series, but this one was written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and drawn by Betten Court. It shows the more grounded and risky side of being a hero—not everything is glory and fans.
Now with just two episodes left, fans should get ready for a strong finish. There’s going to be tough choices, maybe heartbreaks, and a few surprises too.
Whether you watched My Hero Academia or not, Vigilantes is showing a side of hero life that’s raw and full of emotion. It’s not about fame, it’s about doing good even if no one notices.
