My Hero Academia Season 8 Confirms Fall 2025 Release with New Trailer Drop
My Hero Academia’s final season premieres in October 2025 with a new trailer released, marking the epic conclusion to Izuku Midoriya’s heroic journey

A brand new trailer just got dropped for My Hero Academia’s eighth season, which also happen to be the final one. The anime will begin in Japan in October 2025, and fans everywhere can watch it on Crunchyroll. It’s already confirmed they will stream it at the same time this fall.
The manga originally started way back in 2014 in Weekly Shonen Jump, written by Kohei Horikoshi. It was a huge hit that kept growing more popular every year. The story finally ended in August 2024. Viz Media takes care of the English version, which is still being read by fans around the world.
Animation Team Returns
For this last anime season, Studio BONES is again handling the animation, just like before. Kenji Nagasaki and Naomi Nakayama are both directing the season. The series composition and scripts are written by Yosuke Kuroda, and character design duties go to Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima. The music, as always, will be by Yuki Hayashi, who’s known for adding extra feeling into key scenes.
In case someone don’t know, 'the story is about Izuku Midoriya, a boy who’s born without powers in a world where almost everyone got one. They call these powers “quirks.” Even though he’s quirkless, he really wants to become a hero more than anything. One day he meets the #1 hero, All Might, and that changed everything. From there, Izuku starts training to be a true hero at a special academy.'
This being the last season, fans already emotional about it. Many have followed Izuku’s journey for years, and now it’s going to end. But with the same creative team working on it and Crunchyroll bringing it worldwide, people expect it to finish strong. There’ll likely be more info, visuals, and maybe another trailer before October comes. One thing’s sure—this anime going out with a bang.
