A new trailer, visual, and cast members have been revealed for The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess anime, set to premiere in October 2025
The anime version of The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess finally showed off a new trailer and a visual. That happened on Monday. Fans have been waiting a long time for this, and now they can see better how the show might look. It's gonna start airing in October 2025, so not too far away now.
Meet the New Characters and Their Voices
Also, they talk about four more voice actors who are joining the cast. The new characters and the voice peoples are like this:
- Yomi Blacksarana, voiced by Toki Shunichi
- Cheneau Clematis, voiced by Arthur Lounsbery
- Yamato Hydrangea, voiced by Tomoaki Maeno
- Mika, voiced by Atsushi Tamaru
These aren’t the only ones, of course. Yoshino Aoyama is still doing Iana Magnolia—she is the main lead. Already we know M・A・O is playing Konoha Magnolia, Shohei Komatsu as Sol Nemophyra, and Makoto Furukawa as Ginoford Dandelion in the team too.
Talented Team Working Behind the Scenes
The staff behind the anime also included some known names. Hiroaki Sakurai is the one directing it, and Studio DEEN is doing the animation work. The script is written by Mitsutaka Hirota, and the character design is from Tomoyo Sawada. Music part is by Ryuichi Takada, so we expect some nice drama and feelings with it, maybe.
This anime is based on a manga made by Akiharu Toka. That manga is already kind of known, and Yen Press is bringing an English version for outside Japan fans, so they can read it too.
The story is something special. It’s about Konoha Satou, a girl who wrote cringeworthy romance fantasy stories when she was young. She called those her “Dark History.” But now she’s suddenly inside that story world—except not as hero, but the bad villain girl she once made. She wanna not to die badly, but things get messier when someone shows up that she never even wrote before. That part confuses her.
Now with the new trailer, more voice actors, and anime coming in October, fans who like fantasy, drama, and twisty stuff are gonna be excited. It looks like it's gonna be a mix of fun moments and serious stuff. People who liked isekai with weird turns probably will enjoy this one too.
