Call of the Night Season 2 Release Date and Streaming Details on HIDIVE
A beloved supernatural story is returning soon to take fans deeper into a world of mystery and romance

Fans of the vampire romance anime Call of the Night have good news. The second season will start on HIDIVE in July 2025. The first season came out in 2022. Many people liked its special story and good animation. Fans loved the show fast, and it was often compared to popular anime like the Monogatari series.
A Closer Look at the Story
Call of the Night comes from Kotoyama’s manga. The manga was made from 2019 to 2024.It is about Kou Yamori, a middle school student, who meets Nazuna Nanakusa, a carefree vampire. Together, they explore love and the world of the night. The new season will tell more about Nazuna’s secret past and add a new character, Detective Anko Uguisu, who wants to catch vampires.

HIDIVE’s Exclusive Streaming and Events
HIDIVE will stream Call of the Night Season 2 only outside of Japan. They shared a teaser trailer with subtitles to get fans excited for the international release. HIDIVE’s president, John Ledford, said he’s happy to bring back this popular supernatural romance.
To celebrate, HIDIVE will have a special panel at Anime Expo 2025, the biggest anime event in North America. On July 5, fans can watch a preview of the second episode and join a Q\&A to learn more about the new season. Anime Expo will be held in Los Angeles from July 3 to July 6.
Creative Team and Cast Return
The skilled team from Season 1 is coming back for Season 2. Director Tomoyuki Itamura, who also worked on The Case Study of Vanitas, will lead again. Michiko Yokote, who wrote for popular shows like Gintama and Kiss Him, Not Me, is returning as the screenwriter. Haruka Sagawa will be the character designer again, with Ken Naito and Takeshi Naito handling the art. Voice actors Gen Sato and Sora Amamiya will play Kou and Nazuna again.
Catch Up Before Season 2
