Netflix Sets Record of Ragnarok Season 3 Release Date for December 2025

Record of Ragnarok Season 3 hits Netflix in December 2025 with intense battles as gods and humans face off in a decisive seventh match

'Record of Ragnarok' is making a comeback again. This time, it’s Season 3, and Netflix has already announced that it’ll start streaming it from December 2025. They dropped the trailer on their official anime YouTube channel recently, and it got fans talking. Things look serious.

This anime is based on the manga by Shinya Umemura, Azychika, and Takumi Fukui. It’s the same setup again – humans are in danger, gods want to erase them, and so they fight it out in this huge tournament called Ragnarok. The fate of all humanity rides on the result. It’s basically myth meets history but with a lot more fists and screaming.

Season 1 came out in June 2021, and Season 2 was split into two parts, one in January 2023 and other in July that year. Since then, people have waited for what’s next. The battles are usually emotional, kind of philosophical, but mostly intense. And also dramatic – sometimes even too much, but that’s kind of the charm.

The Deciding Match is Here

The new season is all about the seventh battle. Right now the score is tied, 3 for gods and 3 for humans. So yeah, this one is pretty important. Whoever wins, takes the lead. And by the look of it, this next fight isn’t going to be pretty. There’s already talk of how it’ll be a brutal and meaningful showdown.

The anime still closely follows the manga, which started publishing in 2017 in Comic Zenon. Since then, it has become more popular — even got some spin-off manga too. Also, they released a mobile game called "Record of Ragnarok: The Day of Judgment” in March.
