Season 2 of My Dress-Up Darling is Coming: Marin’s New Cosplay and Everything You Need to Know

Marin’s new cosplay and more cast members revealed in My Dress-Up Darling Season 2’s latest episode.

After episode four aired in Japan, My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 went ahead and dropped one new key visual on the anime’s official page. That image was showing Marin Kitagawa as she started preparing for her another cosplay, which is from some show inside the story world called The Student Council President is the No. 1 Host.

This anime is still from Shinichi Fukuda's manga, and it mixes normal school life and emotional drama, mostly focusing on cosplay. The key visual not just shows costume but also tells a bit about how Marin and Wakana’s story is going ahead in this second season.

Making Of the Anime and Watching Options

Season two is being directed by Keisuke Shinohara, who also worked on BLACKFOX before. Animation is handled again by CloverWorks Studio. Yoriko Tomita is doing the story composition, and Kazumasa Ishida is on character design again. Music is by Takeshi Nakatsuka, who was also on The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody.

The manga, created by Shinichi Fukuda, was completed in March 2025 and consisted of 14 volumes since its inception in 2018. The anime keeps that feel from manga, with a mix of love story, cosplay passion, and character journey.
