Shinobanai! CryptoNinja Sakuya Season Three Comes on July 7

Season 3 of *CryptoNinja Sakuya* anime premieres July 7 with a new cast and story.

The third season of Shinobanai! CryptoNinja Sakuya anime is going to begin from July 7, according to Fanworks, which announced on Saturday. The new season title is Shinobanai! CryptoNinja Sakuya San no Maki. It will air on Tokyo MX every Monday at 9:54 p.m. Each episode is just five minutes long. Japanese audience can also see it on AbemaTV, U-NEXT, Hulu, and more.

In addition to the news, they have also provided a new trailer and voice cast lineup. The cast includes Show Hayami, Yumika Yano, Anna Yamaki, Yuina, Hajime Sato, and Fukuko Yukimiyama. But again, no character information is provided for each actor.

Returning Staff and Project Origins

The same director, Akifumi Nonaka, also returns. He had done direction for the initial two seasons previously, and he does the same with this season as well. Script writing was once again handled by Toru Hosokawa. He had also previously worked in Polar Bear's Café and Dinosaur Biyori.

The anime belongs to the CryptoNinja NFT universe. Investor Ikehaya created this project in 2021. Rii2 artwork. In 2022, they claimed it was Japan's largest NFT collective, earned 15,000 ETH, which translated to approximately 50 million yen or $430,000 then. Over 50,000 fans and creators participated.

Story Recap and Future Releases

It was broadcast in October 2023 for its first season and in January 2024. The plot was regarding how Crypto Scroll, a unique item of the ninja town of Kōka, was stolen. Ninjas then began to fight one another. Sakuya, Nemu, and Xiaolan were leading a simple life until they were a part of this.

Fanworks studio produced the anime, assisted by Tokyo Otaku Mode, Tsucrea, and The Battle. They discussed the anime proposal in February 2022. They later revealed a promo video and initiated actor and music auditions in November.

A picture book for the franchise exists, too. It's coming out on June 30.
