Death Note is an anime that is said to be great if you haven't seen it already. There's this kid Light, and he one day just stumbles on this notebook, like on the ground, and if he writes a person's name on it, boom, they're dead. Sounds a little crazy, but that's how it works. Then there's this other guy, L, and he is also very intelligent, trying to determine who is committing the murders. So now both of them do intelligent things, like a giant brain competition. Your brain, while you watch, is also thinking with them. It doesn't have very many episodes, just 37, and it's not slow; it moves quickly, like really quickly.

2. Demon Slayer

It's a pretty new anime, but it's already popular with many people. The appearance, very beautiful, like the animation, makes your eyes want to keep watching. It is about a boy named Tanjiro, who is a very nice one, but then a demon appeared and did something bad to his family. His sister, Nezuko, gets turned into a demon too, which is bad. So now he believes that he is going off to fight demons and perhaps heal her in some way. This show has some of those tear-jerking moments, also some fight scenes that appear cool, and the music is nice to listen to, especially when it plays.

3. One Punch Man

One Punch Man

This is not that serious. The main guy, Saitama, has no hair on his head, and he just punches anyone once, and they are done. Because of that, he felt kind of bored, because no one was coming hard enough to give him a solid fight. The show is sort of doing joke material mainly, but still, their fight sequences look nice and cool. It isn't hard to watch by any means and also doesn't have too many episodes to be concerned about either.

4. Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan

At first, it seemed like only giant giants were chasing people constantly. But eventually, things begin to get weirder and weirder. It introduced wars in the pipeline, some secret deep stuff, and a whole lot of twisty things that happen. All those people living within the large wall have no idea what lies beyond on the other side. Gradually, the truth was revealed piece by piece, and it was strong, like a genuine shock. The tale gets darker as it progresses, but if you like the story to get serious, this one is likely to be enjoyed in abundance.

5. Jujutsu Kaisen

Yuji is just an ordinary boy; then he happened to eat this cursed finger object, and now some sort of demon is dwelling within him. The demon itself is not always evil but still kind of spooky. Then there's this special school that people go to where they study fighting with curses and the like. It had cool fighting and a bit of jokes aside, and most people loved that Gojo sensei character too much. If you've already watched one or two anime, then this one is going to make you feel like you can watch more and continue.
